Our generation
for the next.

Helping every generation bring the greatness of God to the next generation for generations to come.

The Next Generation is leaving…

The faith of our youth is in jeopardy, confirmed by millions leaving the church every year. Parents and grandparents are looking for a solution to bridge the distance with their young family members.  One Hundred Years has been building these connections through two strategic platforms that equip leaders and empower intergenerational relationships.

…a church-wide initiative that equips adult believers from every generation to pray for children and students.

…connecting with, coaching and caring for youth ministry leaders since 1994.

Equipping youth leaders, families and churches to help young people flourish in faith and life since 1994.

A team of adult believers for every young person.

The Pray for Me Campaign began to emerge as we combined what we knew to be true in Scripture with the research stating that the role of adult believers is indispensable in passing on a sustainable faith to the next generation. Our question became: How can we connect more adults with more young people more naturally than ever before?

We believe every young person needs a team of Prayer Champions strategically praying for them. The Pray for Me Campaign creates a vast web of intergenerational relationships for young people and equips adult believers to pass on a sustainable faith to the next generation.

Youth Leaders united and equipped.

The Youth Leader Collective has been connecting with, coaching, and caring for youth ministers and leaders in the greater Chattanooga area since 1994. Our passion is for every youth leader to be connected and equipped in the essentials of effective youth ministry so that the next generation can see and savor the greatness of God.

We’ve recently seen research conducted by One Hope, which shows the average tenure for a youth minister in a church is 3.2 years unless they are a part of a network of other youth leaders.  When a youth leader is involved in a network of other youth leaders, their length of ministry in a specific church jumps to 9.1 years. We believe that research like this can’t be ignored.

Building a Bridge to a Thriving Intergenerational Church with the Pray for Me Campaign and Youth Leader Collective.

One Hundred Years has been committed to helping parents, grandparents, youth leaders and churches lead the next generation to flourish in faith and life. We know that students and young adults continue to walk away from a life of faith and connectedness with Christ and His church. At the same time, social media, busy schedules, isolation and depression often distract them from the life that they were created to have; a life that is connected to all generations of believers and followers of Christ in a thriving church family.

We understand it’s overwhelming to feel like the only godly voice speaking into the life of a young person and it’s a heavy burden to carry alone. Many parents, grandparents and churches feel helpless, frustrated and powerless to help but we know that our children and grandchildren can still have deep relationships with God and His church.

That’s why One Hundred Years has been working since 1994 to come alongside, equip and encourage families, churches and youth leaders to make a difference in this vulnerable generation. As this next generation steps into adulthood, One Hundred Years can help them know that they have a church family supporting them and that there is goodness in a life of faith connected to a healthy church.

“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.”
— Psalm 145:4,7
